Group Leader of LAN, Professor of Wuhan University
Lei received his bachelor degree in chemistry from Wuhan University in 2001. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2006. He worked as a director's postdoctoral fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory (2006–2007) and became an associate professor at Peking University. After a stint in Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN) and Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research (IFW) as a visiting professor (2011), he joined the faculty of Wuhan University in 2012, where he currently holds a Professorship at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences, Institute for Advanced Studies, Renmin Hospital.
